10 Ways to Sneak A Little Exercise Into Your Day



If you are a deeply sedentary couch potato, then you probably have a really tough time getting motivated to exercise even when you feel you really need it!  Here are a few baby steps to get you started:

1.  Stand on your toes while brushing your teeth.

2.  Lift your legs while sitting.

3.  Pretend to ride a bicycle while lying on your back by moving your feet on imaginary pedals.

4.  Do squats before getting into bed.

5.  Touch your toes before entering or exiting a room.

6.  Stand up and walk across the room every hour.

7.  Make circles with your arms while walking around the house.

8.  Do leg lifts while lying in bed.

9.  Run in place for one minute.

10.  Do side stretches while watching TV.
